About Coral

...My mother's "little helper", that's how I was affectionately known as a ten year old. Even at such a young age, I was mature and reliable to share in adult responsibilities. Those activities parlayed into caring for younger siblings, babysitting for neighbors to cumulating into a professional career namely social work and nursing. I savor the newness of meeting new people along the way and listening and partaking in life storie: struggles, successes, failures, and adventures. Despite my academics accomplishments, my greatest reward is my family: a husband, with whom we have nurtured and raised three aspiring daughters. My two eldest are juniors in college and the youngest commencing college in the fall. I was born in Bristol, England where I resided for my formative years. I later migrated to Jamaica, where the foundation of who I am today was cemented. I came to the U.S as a teenager and relished in the opportunities that this great country had to offer. I was the valedictorian in high school and later achieved my Masters in Social Work from Temple University. I hold certifications in CPR/First and licensed as a Med Tech and Nursing Assistant.
