My name is Latisha, but you can call me Tish. I am a Caregiver with 7 years of providing home-based care for a wide range of elderly in MD. At my last job I provided home care for 12-15 clients a week. I took on basic medical care, light housework, meal preparation, keeping clients company , as well as a range of administrative assistance. Most of my clients were typically 65-90 years old with a range of problems. I cared for clients with dementia , Alzheimer's and other health issues. Everyday I would assist clients with their daily needs. I Most of my clients needed assistance with pretty much everything, such as, bathing, toileting, walking, sitting or standing, eating, getting dressed, etc. As my experience has grown, as a highly competent caregiver I would bring a service-focused and hardworking attitude to this role. I am flexible, determined, compassionate, outgoing, respectful, resourceful and trustworthy. I love to care for everyone, no matter the age or gender. I have always taken my role as a caregiver very seriously. I strongly believe that my passion and sincere desire to help the elderly makes me the perfect candidate for this job. My background and skills with older adults make me a great fit for the caretaker role that you are hoping to fill. I am deeply committed to treating my elderly clients with dignity and respect. My goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with their daily activities, especially with personal care. I also excel at planning creative activities customized to the clients needs and physical or mental abilities. It can be challenging at times but I really do enjoy working with my elderly clients.
