Believe it or not my first caregiving job was at the age 13. I began to take care of my neighbor who was disabled. I loved caring for her. 10+ years later I still help from time to time and she is now a family friend. I became a caregiver because I enjoy providing direct care. I've worked many different jobs in the medical field but caregiving has been my favorite. I have a big heart. I believe we all are supposed to help those in need, but only a few of us can handle the responsibility.
