One of my proudest moments occurred when I was working in a nursing home with a difficult resident who refused everybody's instructions to get out of bed. I would go into his room every day trying to get him up, until one day he asked me if I was every going to let him be. When I told him I would not give up, he finally got out of bed. The resident is now doing very well, participates in many activities, and is walking consistently. I feel very proud of my perseverance and the impact that I made on this man's life.
