Since I was a little child, I always helped other people no matter what was wrong. I would give the rest of my money to someone who needed it more than I did. My mother always told me one day I would a wonderful provider for others. So as i grew up my attitude towards others never changed. I still was helping other people before my own needs. So at that point i been to think i should just make a career out of thing i already love to do. So I did, I became a child care provider first and for 4 years and than became a care provider for the elderly. I also know i became a caregiver because I love to know t hat i can make a difference in someone's life. I love when I see my residents laughing and joking. Some of them didn't do that at all and i was able to make them smile and make something of their day. Being a caregiver has it's ups and it's downs, but it's the ups that keeps me going. Being able to encourage someone to do what they can for themselves is amazing, some don't think they can but they never really tired for themselves and to see their faces after they did it makes my heart melt. I am a hard working young women, who is ready to take on any task that is given to me. I make sure i am accurate and doing my job is a timely manner. I work very well with others on my staff and/or team, I would like to know i make a positive influence on others around me. ... more
