I am a great caregiver because I always go out of my way for someone that needs my help.and I don't mind doing it. im very compassionate in what I do, I love what I do. I became a caregiver when my grandma became ill I just stayed there to help her out, when no one else would. I was young but I remember that all the other kids went outside to play, i helped grandma with whatever she needed. She told stories I liked that. Older people make me feel good especially when they give you this big HUG, and tell you don't make this your last visit. What I like about being a caregiver? Its about helping and giving all you got, and showing that person you care. Something that I'm proud of well I've been in this field since 1987. I have seen and heard just about everything. I like to make people laugh, especially if their day isn't going to good. I try to take there mind off of the bad and turn it into something good. When I put a smile on their face I know they will be ok. If they are happy I'm happy. I have a big heart for that. I have 3 girls 2 are grown 1 lives at home with me she is 15. She loves to draw, she wants to go to school to go forward in it. I told her I'm behind her all the way. I'm single never married came close though. I raised all my kids by myself, had some help from friends, but not much. My goal was to go to the army but that never happened. but that's ok I've met so many good people in this field. I thank God for all of it.
