I have been a caregiver 37 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. I became a caregiver in 2005, because I love helping elderly people to feel independent at all times in their own homes. I am experienced in the field of health care by assisting, encouraging, supporting and supervising with their daily needs and goals. I love what I do in helping elderly and individuals that I have been working with. It has made my understanding of life very effectively. Every thing that I put my mind to I achieved, I am really self motivated. I am compassionate, nurturing, dependable, trustworthy and empathetic. My great achievement is yet to come. I am a female who lived in Lorton Virginia with my lovely son. I achieved my Associate degree in nursing at Northern Community College and looking forward to pursuing my Bachelors of Science in nursing at George Mason University.
