I love helping people of all ages, but especially those over 65, achieve better and more content-filled lives. I have active certificates as a CNA, CMT (Certified Medicine Technician, so I can give medicine including Insulin), CPR, AED, First Aid, am waiting to take the test to become certified also as a GNA, and have significant experience in varied areas of healthcare. I am compassionate, observant, timely, take initiative, am a self-starter, and have a very strong work ethic, but also love to laugh and see others laugh :). Other than being a parent of the most amazing kid, the personal achievement I am most proud of would be that I personally saved my Dad's life over 10 times in the last 7 years. I notice things most people don't. Like when someone has a stroke and their pupils getting very dark or big, or a slighten ashen face, changes of demeanor, urine collection color, ostomy-output color and so much more. Most people who call themselves caregivers do not put that much heart into their jobs. I love helping people, especially when they need the help and otherwise might not ask for it. I am an advocate for people who need it and see helping people as my calling. If hired, you will find me to be a consistent, steady rock for you and your family.

Hi and thank you for reading about me! In 2013 I started taking care of my Dad as he was in and out of hospitals and rehab centers, with severe gastric and metabolic conditions. Since then, he has improved in those areas, but has additional health issues such as Parkinson's. It was in this time that I realized that my 'calling' is to take care of others, so I got my CNA/CMT/CPR/First Aid/AED certificates which are all current (and have taken the classes for the GNA certificate). In taking care of my father and then later managing his healthcare, I organize his medicine, speak with his doctors and type up notes the doctors and therapists say, assist in activities of daily living, am very observant, have strong work ethics, and have a 'can do' attitude for every task I take on. I am responsible, timely, trustworthy, prefer to do things without being asked, and if you hire me, you and/or your family will not regret it.
