I'm very compassionate with a passion for seniors, loving, caring, understanding and patient. It is why I have won a few recognition such as caregiver of the month, most compassionate caregiver and outstanding caregiver. I love caring for people in need, making feel safe and cared for is the reason I chose this line of work. Caregiving broaden my knowledge through the different patients I have met that always have things to teach me. I'm proud of all the people that have been in my care who have recovered greatly and they are gaining their independence. I have worked as a caregiver for over 20 years and I have had experience with Dementia patients, cancer recovery patients, hospice, ICU patients, to mention a few. Half of my career was spent doing live-in. I renew all my CNA in both MD and VA, first-aide, CPR licenses so I'm updated. I also take skills classes every six month to improve my skills.
