I feel that a great caregiver should have empathy, patience, compassion, be reliable, be trustworthy, and flexible. I believe that I do have these traits that'll help me to be a great caregiver. What attracted me to want to become a caregiver was the natural urge of wanting to help people. Whenever there were times when my siblings and or parents were sick or hurt I would always help them in any way possible, I would always ask if they were okay and if they needed anything, and that all started off at a young age ever since I could remember. What I would enjoy most about being a caregiver is the experience, the experience of being able to build a relationship with someone and to make that someone feel safe, a sense of security, to make them feel like they are deeply cared for, and to make them feel like they are valued. I don't think it's really an achievement but more of a trait I carry, but I am one of those people where friends come to feel safe about telling me what's going on in there lives, or to tell me there secrets, or seeking advice. It's like they just feel that I am a person that can be trusted, and that is something I am proud of.
