I think what makes me a great caregiver is the feeling that i feel within me that i am helping someone at a time in their lives when they need it,the act of promoting independence and self-esteem gives me pleasure. I also consider it a blessing to care for the elderly.I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping people,especially those who need it the most. I decided that i would like to help people who need help taking care of their loved ones or themselves,by taking care of them exactly the way i would like my own mother to be taken care of.The most rewarding thing about being a caregiver for me is knowing i helped someone who was in need to the best of my ability. Nothing for me surpasses that peaceful feeling. I worked for the same family for a long time because,my employer knew that as long as i was taking care of their loved one,their mind was at peace.I went to work everyday ready to give exceptional care to my client,this is something i strive towards in my work relationships with clients.
