Hello my name is Atiya Floyd, I have 13 years experience working with Alzheimer's, dementia,cancer and hospice patients (I have several years experience with Hospice of Chesapeake and Seasonings Hospice.) I am a passionate, reliable, trustworthy, understanding, honest and most importantly a caregiver with lots of patience. Over the years I have learned that you have to treat patients with respect and dignity, because they are someones loved one and their family has trusted you to properly care for them. My goal as a caregiver is to create a positive memory for the patient and their family. I have 10 years experience as a Medication Technician an also First Aid and CPR certified. I provide the following services: Bathing, Medication Reminders, Transferring, Toileting, Companionship, Continence,Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping and Transportation. My rates start at $10hr, I am available for Full Time, Part Time, Mornings,Afternoons,Evenings,Overnights 7P-7A,Weekends and 24Hr Live-in Weekends (From Friday 7PM to Monday 7AM). I am very comfortable with pets, I can provide a list of references and previous employers I have worked for the years caring for their loved ones.
