PLEASE READ AND LOOK AT MY PROFILE FIRST!!! I have been a private in home caregiver for over 20 years. I became a caregiver because people get so overwhelmed taking care of loved ones and that is where I come in. I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references just ask! I am skilled with Medicare and all insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket. I also am capable of getting everything my patients need to stay home. I work very closely with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I know that my hourly rate looks high but once taxes are taken and the price of gas for travel, it really averages out and you would pay a service the same thing and not get the same care at all! I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I not only can do the health aspect part of the job but I will also help cooking and cleaning. I can take you where you need to go or just run errands for you. My references will tell you that if you just contact me. You may call or text me anytime. 301-992-0370 Thank you so much for looking! Have a blessed day! God is Good All The Time!! I have been responding to messages but I am not sure people are getting them. If you are not, please call me!!!

1.I became a caregiver because I have a passion for taking care of people especially the older population. 2.I love the fact that as a caregiver, am able to give or add meaning and worth to someones life as well as increase the level of independence knowing hiw difficult and challenging it is to be solely dependent on someone else fir basic activities of daily living 3.Am so proud of the fact that am a loving and caring aide and where I work I got many recommendations as to being a very good caregiver who knows how to take good care of the residents and make them feel at home. 4.I am so loving and caring and above all love making people laugh and feel worthy of living.
I am a loving and caring person and I love helping others. I love my job and what it allows me to do for others. I have been on the receiving end of having a loved one get very sick and bounce back and forth from nursing home to hospital so I know all too well not just the physical but the emotional strain that situations like these can have for people and family's. This is why I try my best to help the best I can in any situation. I choose to get into this line of work because unfortunately I had to see first hand with a loved one that not everyone is properly taken care of or even cared about in these situations and that is just awful and unfair. When my loved one passed away I vowed to make a difference, even if its just one person or a small few its better then none or just doing nothing.
I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day. I love meeting new people that's what interests me most about this job.
Ive found at a very young age my calling in life, to make the best positive impact on the most possible people. Being of service to others, enhancing their lives and giving peace of mind to my patients and their families is an amazing reward. I care for my patients as I would for my own family and I believe my work shows it. I am a very patient, reliable, compassionate and caring person with a great sense of humor. Love to see my patients grow, overcome personal obstacles and achieve their highest potential. I have a background in psychology, child development and geriatrics. I have ten years of experience caring for special needs, elderly and disabled people. Ive worked in assisted living facilities, nursing homes and private care. Have experience with everything ranging from running errands and providing companionship to assisting stroke and fallen patients with recovery. Having a psychology background has allowed me to provide extensive care to patients diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism and Parkinson's, speech and motor delay. I have plenty of references. Please dont hesitate to ask for more information.
Life is about loving others, no matter what they are going through. As I've lived and learned, my loving of caring for others has only grown stronger. It is this strength that I seek to give to others as I care for them and their families. In my culture, aging and sickness are made most beautiful when experiencing compassionate care. Family members are supported through grace and understanding as their loved ones are in my care. There is peace in knowing that one's ill parents or last living grandparent are being cared for by an individual who has respect for this deeply intimate time and space. I look forward to sharing my love of life with you and your family.
I love caring for others and sharing my love of life! Being a caregiver is an honor. When others trust you to care for their loved ones, you must treat that opportunity like the treasure that it is. Every family that I have had the joy of supporting holds a special place in my heart. I believe that my cultural experiences give me an added advantage as a caregiver. Having a global perspective gives one additional insight into human behavior and thought. I look to challenge those I care for by continuing to support curiosity and imagination, which is know to increase a person's well-being. Being a caregiver often means supporting families as their loved ones transition to the next life. This season of life should be met with compassion and warmth.
I have 30+ years experience in long term care> I have also done 1 1/2 years Hospice care and have also done Home Care. I love working with the elderly as I think I get more from them then anything I can do for them. I feel people should be shown respect, and that their dignity is what needs to be on everyone's mind that are caring for that resident! A little about is I am a 21 year old male, the second youngest of 9 siblings, and a newly father to a beautiful 4 month old daughter. I played soccer all my life and led my team to state championship the first one since 1958 my senior year. I am a super hard worker but I want a rewarding job not to be in some factory some where. I want to help people, I want to do something for the greater good and this job I would be doing that directly. I am an energetic person so I wouldn't mind doing fun things with my senior that they enjoy. I'm pretty handy so I can help around the house and as a marine we would get inspected almost everyday so I can keep the place tidy. I am willing to assist in anyway needed.
