I am a compassionate person and enjoy helping people. I enjoy listening to people and their stories, even if it is the same stories all the time. I am a patient person and offer that to my clients. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I can help someone stay at home where they want to be, help them so they can keep their pride and dignity. I had a client that was only comfortable with me when she was in her last days, I stayed with her so she would not be scared. She didn't want anyone else, caregiver, with her but me. I believe that compassion and caring are very important and everyone should be able to stay in their own home, they worked all their lives to get to where they are and if they want to live out their final days, months, and / or years at home then they should be able to.
