Administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under supervision of Nurse General Duty. In charge of presenting medication to patients and observing ingestion or other application, using specified procedures. At the helm of taking vital signs and/or monitoring patients to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare reports or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions. Enables physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising. Monitors personal and staff compliance to all State and federal requirements including but not limited to blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and fire safety. Deliberates sensitive information; guidance and technical assistance to the individual so that s/he can access, organize and utilize opportunities, resources and services necessary to live a self determined life. Foster and advise clients with developing, organizing, and conducting plans to prevent and resolve problems relevant to behavior, human relationships, rehabilitation, or dependent care
