About Darlene

Hello! I have been a caregiver for most of my life, and my career. I am a caregiver at heart and find that the most important thing in life is to be kind, work hard and take care of those placed in your path. I have been caring for the aged and those with dementia for over 25 years. In my past, I had a residential care home and an Adult Day Center and they were the best 15 years of my life! Caregiving allows one to be part of something bigger than yourself. Giving of yourself, whether it is a helping hand, assisting someone to do something they can no longer do by themselves, and providing care at a level of compassion and patience that one would expect if the shoe was on the other foot. To me, it's about what you leave behind - touch someone's life for the better.

I also don't mind short shifts as long as I don't have to travel too far and have multiple short shifts is worth it to me I just need to make sure I can take care of my family my faith and my little girl.
