I became as caregiver because I thought it was a great way to help elderly as well as earning an income. Caregiving gives me flexibility of job hours. Being a caregiver, I feel satisfied that I am able to meet clients needs and help clients toward recovery and a better quality of life. I am proud of being able to volunteer to help a client several years back for the days that her medical insurance did not cover. I was happy to help her as she was blind, handicapped, and unable to afford having someone help her. I have worked through a home care agency on and off depending on my availability for 6 years.
