Hi there!!!! I have always had a passion for helping others. Whether it was taking a position in a daycare or public school or assisted living or residential home; I have been working in the human service field for as long as I was legally able too! And before I jumped into the workforce, I babysat children in my community since 11 years old; so being a caregiver has always come naturally to me. During my 20's while studying to obtain my bachelors degree, I worked as a PSS for seven years for two home health care agencies. I absolutely loved working with clients in their homes, as I'm able to provide exceptional care in the environment that they feel most comfortable. I find it extremely rewarding to help others in need. In my opinion, the elderly are the most vulnerable population to be financially and physically abused, and it's important for caregivers to advocate, so that they are able to receive the proper care the later years of their lives. I enjoy working with a client in home, as I find that everyone has their own culture and it's fascinating to learn about someone's past life experiences. I think it is very important to be open minded, and I would fully respect my clients way of living and not show judgment. I have great communication skills and can adapt to whatever style of communication my client prefers. I take constructive criticism very seriously; I want to make sure I am giving the best care, but more importantly the right care, for what my clients personalized needs are. I promise to treat my clients with dignity and respect, while providing them support so that they are able to continue living successfully and safely, in the comfort of their own homes.

I have an infectious positive attitude, and a deep seated drive to help those in need. I got into caregiving while in college, first learning to support children with autism. I enjoy the day to day wins of the people I support.
