I am a dedicated passionate individual who is always trying to think of ways to help and try to always keep an optimistic attitude especially when it comes to the sick or elderly. When I was 14 my grandmother was stricken with Parkinson's disease and then seeing how a beautiful and once independent woman now needed my assistance with everything humbled me and primed me for a lifetime of assisting others. I really enjoy meeting new people and seeing what a difference I can make in their lives. I currently take care of a TBI patient and when all hope was thought to have been lost I was able to get him to eat again as he has dysphagia from the brain injury and eating is one of his biggest challenges but also one of his favorite things to do.
