About Stephanie

I have 10 years experience as a nanny and assistant/house manager. Though I may not have direct work with senior care, my daily tasks as a nanny include various activities that keep a home functional. This includes, transportation to activities, grocery shopping and other errands, cooking, laundry, and other general housework. I love doing odd jobs around the house such a putting together furniture, painting, and other handyman type activities. In addition to this experience as a children's caregiver, my parents live with my family and I find myself assisting more and more with things around the home to help them. I would love to start working with seniors because I have an increasing desire to work with adults. I really do enjoy my positions as an assistant to the families I work for. It's always very rewarding when I finish something that I know will make a difference within their homes. Aside from having my son, my greatest personal achievement was being the first woman in my family to graduate from college. It has opened up opportunies and given me experiences that I will appreciate forever. I strive to become an addition to a family, and a person's life rather than just employee. It makes my job rewarding and enjoyable.
