I have been a caregiver since I was in my early 20's. I have years of experience working as a caregiver. I have worked at retirement homes to helping people in their homes to staying overnights. I really enjoy this line of work because it best represents my character. I have compassion, patience and respect for people and I believe that if you put in honest work, you will live a good life. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is the personable aspect of it, not being a robot. I have a BBA in accounting, but what really calls my name is serving my community in a different way that is not corporate. I much rather give a helping hand if I can to someone that really needs it.
