Follow individualized care plans for residents by working closely with nursing staff. Provide safe bedside care and support to residents in a 60+ bed facility. Assist patients with daily activities including eating, dressing, ambulating, etc. Repositioning patients every 2hrs or as needed. Establish a special connection with residents through empathy and relationship building techniques. assisting with transfers, walking, and other physical, speech or occupational therapy activities as established by the therapist Assist with finding coverage, Assign caregivers to cases accordingly Keeping patient rooms clean and organized. Maintaining accurate patient records. Assisting the healthcare team with administering treatments. Collecting liquid samples or specimens for testing. Performing basic nursing procedures such as administering medications. Reporting any changes in patients' conditions to a registered nurse or physician. Providing emotional support and assisting patients with basic needs such as dietary intake, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse etc.) or EKG signals and patient condition Providing patients with emotional support Charting every 15-30 min Ability to manage a fast-paced, high energy recruiting process Helped maintain a high standard of care for residents by answering call lights and monitoring behavior for signs Applied dressings and non-medicated treatments under the supervision of medical professionals.
