I love taking care of people. I started out by taking care of my great grandmother, grandmother and some of their friends. I use to work for Sunrise Senior Living for 20 months where I got the Employee of Month trophy. I learned alot while I was there. I got to meet and love some great people, but I also lost alot of them. I became a Caregiver because I wanted to see if I would like to work with a group of people instead of being a home health aid. I like doing both. Working as a Caregiver has its up and down, but it's the experience of helping other people enjoy their day that makes it worth while. I have work as Direct Care worker, Home Health Aide, Companion, and Sitter for 30 year, but being a Caregiver has taught me the most experience about taking care of people. I experience in taking care of hospice, brain damage, mental and physical challenged, wheel chair bound, Alzheimer and Dementia residents and more.
