My experience with the elderly began in my preteen years. My Granny trained my cousins and I to serve the sick members of our church and community. Some of the things we did were light housekeeping, run errands, prep meals, and sing songs. As an adult, I've served 4+ years as a leader in the senior group at our church. We provided lunch and conversations. We did chair exercises, went on field outings, i.e.; museums, casino, super market, and assisted them on doctors appointments.
