What helps me be a great caregiver is that I am a very compassionate and patient person. I treat your loved ones as one of my own family members. I make sure I listen to all their needs, wishes, and wants, and I try my best to make that happen. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that I feel the need to make sure your loved ones are taken care of properly and getting their ADL's met daily. I do this because that is how I would want someone to treat my loved ones. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I am able to have conversations with your loved ones daily, and to make sure that I am the reason their life and your life is 100% easier. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I pushed myself to enroll in a CNA Class and to push myself to give my son a better life then I had.
