I became a caregiver because as a young child I cared for my ailing grandma not knowing I was actually being a caregiver, but I was always and still passionate about caring for others that can't unfortunately take care of themselves. The proudest thing I had ever accomplished as a caregiver is getting a woman that never fed herself, she wouldn't even try to do so, I knew she could and I let her know that she could and if she spilled that it was okay. When she began to eat on her own with just a little guidance the whole staff looked at me like what do I have that they didn't. Check vitals as scheduled record via computer, constant hand washing, and provided one on ones, which you sit in a room with out sleeping and watch clients that has been placed on suicide watch.
