What makes me a good caregiver is the fact that I'm compassionate about helping those who cant do everything for themselves. Being a caregiver makes me feel like I'm apart of something important , and someone appreciates me. I became a caregiver because of Mentally disabled individuals I just always had this warmth in my heart for them, but as i got older i branched out into not only mentally disabled but also physically disabled individuals, because the help they need is also important. I've been working as a caregiver for 8 years and I love several things about it but my most interest is when my supported person knows that I'm there for them and i will do anything for their well-being. Through my 8 years of experience I have saved people lives from CPR, I've learned how to properly administer medication which has also helped me in my home life, I've traveled to several different states, and I've meet some of the most touching people in the world.
