I am compassionate and patient, and a care-oriented person, as I have a high level of empathy and training as a Psychologist from Venezuela, I was trained to care for the elderly. I love to support other people to feel better and they have a more functional life.

Being a caregiver is an extremely rewarding job. I have a passion for helping others and putting a smile on other's faces, and being a caregiver allows me to do both of these things. I am going to school to become a recreational therapist and will work with people with disabilities, older adults, and a wide range of people in that field. I believe it is important for older adults to have someone to interact with during the day to improve their mental health.

I feel like I'm a very calm, positive and patient person. I really like working with and helping people. What I like most about being a caregiver is knowing that I'm having a positive impact in someone's life. I'm most proud of just knowing that I'm trying my hardest each day to help people.

I am a very loyal honest person I enjoy caregiving it brings me peace in this chaotic world today that we live in and my skills and my experience can bring smiles and lots of laughs and it can take on many new friendships with your loved ones . A personal achievement that I am proud of is when I was 35 I got my GED and got to walk with a cap and gown and my kids watch me accept my GED and my daughter graduated the same year and we got to attend each other ceremonies.

I have a huge heart, filled with compassion for all those I come in contact with. It is in my soul to be a caregiver and a helper! I am currently studying social work to grow in my skills of being a care provider! I have over 7 years of experiences providing direct care to adults and children. Adding another 6 years of housekeeping and cleaning experiences to add to my skills. I enjoy being around others and very social and love to socialize and build positive relationships with all my clients and families providing assistance to. I enjoy making those everyday struggles easier and achievable. Companionship is a must and I hope to be the one to brighten and make everyday a success!

Why did I become a Caregiver? I have been gifted with Compassion and Empathy. My diverse life experiences have allowed me to care for people with Dignity and Grace. During my hands on experience in Group Homes, One on One companionship, Private CNA Caregiver, Nursing Home and Nanny experience. I have acquired many skills and tools that have allowed me to care for others with dignity and grace. Despite their dementia, schizophrenia, autism, Asperger's, or mental illness. The Individuals I care for celebrate this person-centered care. I see and respect them as the most important person in my Now. A personal achievement I am proud of is my Patience, Love and Understanding. My ability to adapt quickly. I moved to Florida three summers ago from Minnesota. I have yet to get used to the Florida summers. However, I do enjoy and embrace the Flora, Foliage and Fauna. I see something new everyday. My new favorite Florida bird is the Painted Bunting.
