Hello, My name is Paul and I have over 5 years of care giving experience caring 24/7 for my own mother since early 2009 (stroke survivor). Daily tasks included transfer, dispensing meds, taking blood pressure, cooking, bathing, dressing, post-stroke exercises, running errands, laundry, and companionship. I am able to lift grown men to help them stand and stabilize, and prop men and women to make sure they don't tip over. I will also dress, bathe, light cook, help with exercises, provide companionship, empty a catheter bag, and run errands. I am not certified in CPR; however, I own a blood pressure cuff and know how to take blood pressure and will dispense meds. I have the gentleness, patience, and temperance that's essential for a caregiver. I developed a method that honors the dignity of my mother and would do the same with your loved one regarding any bathing requirements; we always used a few bath towels as cover. The same went for dressing: a bed sheet. Or, we would do whatever method your loved one is use to and prefers. Wage is negotiable. I would prefer to stay in the Apple Valley, Eagan, Burnsville, Lakeville, and Rosemount area. Perhaps Savage also. You can go to mncourts.gov and run my name for a background check. Click on "Access Court Cases" then "I Accept" then run my name. (No need to pay for a background check everything is public and 3d party companies that run background checks use mncourts.gov since it's all encompassing.)
