I became a caregiver because it's in my nature to care for people and their needs. I love being a caregiver because I not only walk away with knowing I helped someone I also walk away knowing I made a change and get to know about another wonderful person. Knowing that you can be trusted and seeing that in ones face and actions is great. It takes a lot for some to let another come into their lives and see sometimes their vulnerabilities especially in their health and allow the help. I am a single mother to 3 beautiful children 26, 23,and 17 and a 5 yr old grandson. I cared for my grandmother for about 2 yrs while she was ill until she passed at 96. I have many years on and off caring for mostly seniors needs and currently care for a 95 yr old gentleman in Raytown MO. I love what I do and the smiles on their faces when I arrive and leave.
