My drive as a caregiver began when I was 13. I babysat a girl who was wheelchair bound from injuries caused during birth. I have done volunteer work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and also been a volunteer for Camp Systole (for pediatric cardiac patients), and studied abroad in the Bohemian Islands for Statistical Analyses. I am a mother of one. I pride on being hobest, dependable, reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, a multi-tasker, and quick learner. I have cared for the adult population as well during clinicals in nursing school and in my personal life (grandparents who required total care). I enjoy caring for others and providing the respect and nurturing needed and deserved. My CNA was obtained through a class in nursing school called Fundamentals of Nursing and clinical hours.
