I became a caregiver because I took care of my sick grandparents up until the age that I was able to move out on my own. My grandfather has dementia and Parkinson's disease and my grandmother has heart disease so it was rewarding for me to know that I was helping them out when they weren't able to help themselves until I was no longer able to do so. They are both still alive but the care they need now is such that I can't provide. I love everything about being a care giver. I love helping others and letting people know that there will always be help when needed. Personally I'm proud of the fact that I put my needs aside in order to take care of my grandparents when no one else was around to help. I'm 19 now and I'm looking for someone who needs the help that I am offering to give.
