My name is Margaret and I am actively seeking a caregiving position. I have been with my current client for 3 1/2 years but the time has come to make a change. I am a Dementia and Alzheimer's specialist. I am experienced in Memory Care. Memory Care clients are my favorite people in all of healthcare! Though my first pick is with the Dementia and Alzheimer's clients, I have had other clients with other conditions, such as, stroke, diabetes and congested heart failure etc.. In 2011 when my ex mother in law became sick I became one of her caregivers. It was then that I realized how much I enjoyed caring for her. I do believe this is my calling. I was once offered a position as manager of a home health company. I did not think I could do that job. I was right because I need to be the caregiver not the office person. I love my job. I like everything about caregiving. I love my seniors. I love their stories and their laughter. I'm happy when they are happy. I look forward everyday to seeing my seniors. I love cooking, cleaning and fussing over my seniors, so I'm a natural at caregiving. Remember if you love what you do it's never a job. My fee starts at $25 an hour. My fee increases if the shift is split. Also would like employer to pay a share of taxes. I am currently working for $24 an hour but I am not so sure that after 36.5 months it's working. My name is Gayle Lusk but I go by "Lisa", I have lived in Auberry for many years and very proud of my community. I am a compassionate and caring person. My main priority is to my clients. I have been taking care of the elderly, special needs, adults & children for over 30 years. I have a big heart and I always make my clients very happy. The best part of caring for someone is seeing them laugh and enjoying my time with them. I have worked for Foothill Elementary School since 2019 and I enjoy working with the children and watching them grow. I prefer not to work weekends but in a pinch, I would. My life has always and will be about taking care of people. I have been this way since I was very little.
