I have worked with mainly elderly patients in ophthalmology for 32 years. I have become very close to to alot of my patients. I became close friends with an elderly neighbor who had no family in this country. I took her to her doctor appointments and was with her when she passed away. I am still very close to some of the patients who I worked with. I have helped with my mother's care when I have visited her in Florida where she lives with my sister. She requires help walking and also showering. She and I love to play cards! I am also a CASA volunteer.
