About Angela

I naturally became a caregiver by helping my mom take care of my disabled brother with heart conditions growing up. I then volunteered to take a year off from college to help take care of my dad's mother, then again left one job to move in and take care of my mother's mother. I've always been someone who cared whole heartedly about other people and I believe that EVERYONE should have someone there for them when they need assistance that actually cared versus just working a job and treating them horrible. I like the feeling that being a caregiver gives me. It's a tough job emotionally at times but it's so rewarding knowing that I am the one that was there for someone during their time of need. That I done something good in the world and hopefully changed their life for the better.

His driving privileges were taken away so I had to help take him to and from doctor appointments, run errands, help him take on and off the machine to shower, monitor his meds, and be there in case something happened in the middle of the night.
