Empathy. Sometimes it is one of the most powerful actions. Lending a caring ear. Because we all have circumstances that affect us. Sometimes the negative thing can discourage us emotionally. I hope to listen effectively, because sometimes this is the only thing that we can give one another... the caring ear. My experience is working with children in a classroom environment. I have a passion for teaching, especially the gift of reading. A personal achievement I am extremely proud of is I have worked with my church on fundraising teams to help teams go to Nairobi, Kenya, Africa. It felt like we accomplished something life changing when we reached our amounts needed to send the team and seeing all of the youtube videos of the work our teams accomplished in this country.
