In 2008 my grandma passed away, she was on hospice for COPD. When I seen how well she was treated during her end of life, I knew this is what I wanted to do. I wanted to help others to be able to stay in their own home, if it meant their home being in their house, Independent living, assisted living...etc. To stay home and not in the hospital. I wanted to be there for them, some individuals have no family or their family lives out of state. I become their family. Its a very rewarding job. Sometimes hard but rewarding.
