Hello! My name is Kinsley, and I am a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver who truly enjoys helping others feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have experience assisting with personal care, medication reminders, companionship, and helping families care for loved ones with disabilities and medical needs. Through Health Science classes and my time at Hinds, I've gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience that strengthened my passion for caregiving. What first attracted me to caregiving was seeing how much of a difference kindness and support can make in someone's life. I have helped care for a child with disabilities and a feeding tube alongside my mom through at-home care, where we made sure they were safe and received immediate help if needed. I have also helped my grandmother with bathing patients, changing them, making sure medications were given on time, and simply being there for emotional support and comfort. What I enjoy most about caregiving is building connections with people and knowing I can make their day a little easier or brighter. I believe everyone deserves patience, respect, and genuine care. One personal achievement I am very proud of is completing two years in Health Science while gaining real-life caregiving experience at the same time. Those experiences have taught me responsibility, communication, and how important compassion is in healthcare and caregiving.
