I believe what makes me a great caregiver is being a compassionate and patience person. I tend to look at the person who I care for as if I'm taking care of my mother or grandmother. I look at them as my family. The reason why I became a caregiver is because I truly wanted to help my mother if she fell sick or if a family member needed help. We're all here to help one another and it's our responsibility to help the sick, elderly, and anyone that needs assistance. I like being a caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to hear stories that people have that I might read or hear through someone else. People have a story to tell and it helps them to relive and with it comes wisdom. When I bring a smile or make someone day, that is my personal achievement.
