My name is Angelia Grant I have been in the medical field for over 30 years . I have worked in various facilities such as nursing homes, hospitals, retirement homes, Special need homes ,Alzheimer's facilities ,home health and private settings . I always had a passion for helping others it was instilled in me as a child and I always carried it with me .I was taught to Love the Lord God with all your heart and love your neighbors as yourself meaning not only the people next and from that it taught me to treat others as I desired to be treated.I assisted my grandmother at the age of 9 when she cared for my grandfather after a stroke left him paralyzed on one side and I always said when I become an adult that I wanna be in a profession that help others. I pursued my CNA at the age of 19 and earned many other certifications along the way. I enjoy being a caregiver it allows me to help with ensuring comfort and dignity .I feel proud of how many people that I have helped gain back some of the things they lost such as pride, dignityand the will to move on despite of, their circumstances and if I couldn't help them rehabilitate, I am glad that I could offer love , comfort and understanding.
