I have always been around older people, specifically, my grandmother. I really enjoyed all of her humorous ways,(sarcasm) and her carefree attitude towards life and living. When I say,"She enjoyed her life!!" Imagine what that definition is in your world!!. She was a elementary school Janitor but lived her life, the way she dressed, and traveled, like a movie star. I learned alot from her about respect and being good to people in general.

I have ALWAYS enjoyed being needed and helping others out. I would be the girl running to grab bandaids for my friends if they needed one. Iv always been caring and enjoy caring for others. That is a big part of my personality ! It is so enjoyable to be involved in elderly lives ! I find it so rewarding to help those who have lived their life. What a privilege it is and while they might be done living their "best" life, I enjoy bringing them ease and comfort. A part of me feels like I help them enjoy life even though it's not the life they use to have. I have worked with clients on chemo, altimeters, dementia, and gastrointestinal disorders. It has shown me how you come off and say things make a HUGE difference in their every day life. I like to keep it as simple as possible, as stress free as possible, and as comfortable as possible. This makes life easy. I am proud I have found through experience these little tactics out. I absolutely LOVE caregiving. It helps prepares me for my future roles as a further my career. I'm a very outgoing person I'm going to do my best to make sure my clients are satisfied and happy. What made me want to be a caregiver is when my father had a stroke and ended up staying in a nursing home. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help those in need. The one achievement I'm most proud of is knowing how tuff this job can be but I'm still able to do my best job.
