Hello my name is sonja im a certified caregiver been certified since 2011 I specialize in dementia and alzheimer i have special training for that as well. I also have lots of experience working with elderly that dont have dementia or any other memory impairments. This is definitely my calling i love being around elderly people and being able to help them in any way i can i treat them as if they were my own grandparents because i would want the same for mine

I became a caregiver because I took care of my old mother that needed help and couldn't care for herself people came in my house and did not give my mother the cares that she needed and I felt so sorry for her so I had to leave one of my job to help her. 2. Being a caregiver I like helping older people meet their needs helping them reach their goals and seeing smiles on their faces.My personal achievement that I am proud of when I go to work and I make my resident smile and they know that they have someone every day to look up to that make them to feel they are love and care for. I am a very patient person a people person,friendly sociable and fun to be with love helping others in need mainly senior citizens very capable hardworking and love to listen consider every resident like my family enjoy being able to put a smile on a resident face I currently have clients that appreciate my ethic and style.
