I became a caregiver in August 2009 for my father, Brian. After a series of tests my father was diagnosed with early - stage of cancer. I have always taken care of my father because my mother was never around to provide support to the family. His condition is still in the early stages, but I am worried about the future. This situation brought my father and I closer. His condition has made me realize that this is career move that I wanted to peruse. I am not a caregiver by career but by choice. My baby brother had got really sick at the point of dying cuz they couldn't figure out what was wrong he finally got a little better they sent him home and I took care of him cuz they put him a pick line, I've also helped my friend with her parents until the y passed I helped take care my moms friend father he had dementia so I had to give him his medication also bathe him my last client I had just passed away back in the middle of march I was so happy that I could bring him joy for his last days here on earth his family said I spoiled him it's that he reminded and me so much of my grandfather so I'm just glad I can help people!!!
