I'm a new grad RN but 7 years of LVN experience at a sub-acute, TCU, psych, rehab, long term care.

I am an extremely patient caregiver, who can understand the struggles of living with a disease, or disability. Because of my personal experience with my own loved ones, I decided that caring for others at times when maybe they aren't at their best is exactly what would bring me joy and fulfillment. During this time I have enjoyed lots of research through general education for the RN program and am currently taking a break from school to focus on family, work, and relocating . I am a creative open-minded person so I enjoy adding wholistic and alternative healing modalities that feed into all levels of healing when do desired by the client. I believe what is healing to one person is individually unique and should be carefully considered while keeping the clients' rights of choice & preference in the forefront of forming a perfect care-plan. I became a caregiver at a young age dealing with a brother with developmental disabilities... as I turned of age to find my own career path I always ended up in the same line of work... I have worked with children with developmental disabilities also adults... I have experience in alzheimer's and dementia care and I take pride in the bond I tend to build with my clients and their families...
