I've been a care giver for about 10 years now ever since I moved here to help my grandmother after her bypass heart surgery. Taking care of her definitely sparked something in me and I knew that I was meant for the medical field. Since then I've worked with about 100 families from private care to agencies &I also nursing home settings . I have taken care of many people with conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's, cancer , stroke, arthritis. Etc. I have also done companion services & light housekeeping &a cooking . I am comfortable with pets and clients who smoke, though Not a smoker myself. I am available to work around my perdiem schedule at Marian hospital in Santa Maria &I I am available most nights .

Hello, Hola! My name is Leticia Martinez-Morales, I am currently 28 years old and I am currently working at a Senior Care Facility. I have 10 years experience working with seniors and worked in multiple places, from private care to well known large hospitals in Southern California. I have worked as a CNA ( certified nurse assistant) in Med-surg, Peds, ICU, Labor and Delivery, ER, Oncology and Telemetry. For the last year I have shadowed MD, DO, PA, NP as well as Nursing Home administrators. My first client gave me the motivation and it opened my eyes to how much I can help people as a Caregiver. I love being able to help them, so that they can have a better day and not have to struggle so much when it comes to their activities of daily living.

I've worked as a caregiver/Companion for over ten years. Most of my time has been spent working in the privacy of my clients homes. I'm compassionate, trustworthy and reliable. I love what I do, I take pride in being a caregiver. It is very rewarding.

I became a caregiver first to my grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's it's a very sad disease to watch. But we wanted what time she did have to be as good for her as possible. Older people have always had my respect. Ive grown up in such a different way when respect was part of life and I feel compelled to continue giving them respect when they can no longer do for themselves. To nurture ,love and give quality care for them as I'd want done for my loved ones and to keep them clean happy and well taken care of. I have since been with 7 other elders through the end of there lives and have seen a litany of different needs that have taught me alot about caretaking from clients with strokes, cancer, ALS, Parkinsons, complete bed bound,catheters, transfers, bed baths, toileting and handling prescription care. I've also completed the training available to me pertaining to Care Taking..Ive also had a background check and plenty of references.

I am a very hard-working person I wish for prosperity I love being with my family I like my job I like to cook I like to travel The most important thing is that I like to help people who need a hand who suffer from some illnesses like the elderly who suffer a lot I love a lot in my work .The greatest pleasure I have is taking care of them and that they, despite having dementia or Alzheimer's, recognize me and give me a smile is my greatest pleasure because they know and recognize who is good when they are taking care of them.

I find great value in being able to use humor to enhance my relationship with others by making them feel happier. You can count on me to maintain confidentiality as I worked with many clients as a real estate broker and general contractor in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. I am a compassionate, kind, respectful, and patient person. I am extremely attentive to my client's needs. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client's day, that means a lot to me. It is important to laugh. I found my calling after years of taking care of my elderly parents and also my own family. I took a job near my home assisting a RN and an LVN to care for 6 mentally and physically challenged adults in a group home. I fell in love with the job and was heart sick, when a year later, the group home closed, due to lack of funding from the state. I decided to go back to school and earn my CNA certification. I served an internship at three different assisted living facilities during my training and was convinced that this was the field I was happiest in. I got a job I love and have been kept busy but would like some extra work in addition to my regular job. I have good references from people who know my good work history.

I became a caregiver because my grandmother had cancer. The hospice nurse she had was a wonderful person and helped us so much. After that I was inspired to provide that type of care to others. I've enjoyed taking care of others and helping people live out their day with my help. I make it a point to get my clients out and about in the community instead of staying at home all day. I re-introduce passions my clients once had into the care I provide. I feel that seniors should have an immense amount of attention because they deserve that and more.
