I am a compassionate,kind patient, trustworthy and reliable person. I was attracted to caregiving because it is a job that has the potential to to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy interacting with them and taking care of them makes me feel like am part of the family. The personal achievement that am proud of is knowing that my time ,presence and efforts can provide comfort to someone .

I have been in Healthcare for 21 years. I enjoy assisting clients with ADLS. I learn a lot from each client. Companionship is comforting. I have a med tek and CNA certificate.

These are some of the qualities that I value and am known for as a caregiver: Self motivation- I enjoy looking for new ways in which to assist in or improve a situation. Reliable- I am a stable part of my client's lives by showing them that I can be present and on time when they need me. Respecful- I demonstrate the importance of being kind and patient with my clients in order for them to keep their dignity and happiness. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I enjoy making people feel comfortable and cared for whether that be physically or emotionally. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver are the friendships the have formed. Being able to assist while engaging with clients is the highlight of my day. Even if they are limited in their communication, I enjoy the connection with them through something as simple as a smile. A personal achievement I am proud of is attending college while keeping excellent grades because I make it a goal to work hard at whatever I am doing.

Since I moved to Colorado three years ago, I have pursued a career in home health working closely with clients that are all very near to my heart. I am a enthusiastic, patient, empathetic and caring individual doing my best to brighten up the lives of others! When I first started caregiving over 12 years ago I wasn't sure if I would be making a career of a caregiver. To be honest it wasn't for me after the first few weeks. Well something happened and 12 years later I am still caregiver because this is what I am supposed to do in life. I have learned that I have a gift for memory care and a whole lot of love to give. I always make sure that my daily task will get completed in time for me to take the time to visit with a resident or client that needs someone to just be there for them. To listen,to talk to,or just quietly sit with them. Maybe they want to be mad and scream and hit at you. Whatever they need. I love what I do and I do what I love.

Hello I am Alicia- I have done private home care for approx. 15+ years. I find it very rewarding to give the care I wish to receive for myself or family members if/when I may need help doing everyday tasks. I raised 4 children & now have beautiful grandbabies to enjoy & visit them as often as I'm able to. For the past year & a half I've lived with my dad caring for him and his COPD- on November 21st he lost the fight against his disease.
