Hello! I have worked in various roles as a caretaker. I have 21 years experience in healthcare with long term care patients. Memory care experience with advanced stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. I have always loved to work in a geriatric setting, but I moved into hospital work and have been an ICU Technician, a pharmacy technician, cardiac technician, and most recently obtained a degree in Surgical Technology! I am also current on Covid vaccinations and all vaccinations. I am Also current in my BLS certification.

I am a compassionate,kind patient, trustworthy and reliable person. I was attracted to caregiving because it is a job that has the potential to to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy interacting with them and taking care of them makes me feel like am part of the family. The personal achievement that am proud of is knowing that my time ,presence and efforts can provide comfort to someone .

I'm a fast learner. I love helping others and multitasking.

I have always been drawn to the senior population. It started when I was a young child and I would go to the nursing home and okay cards. Into adulthood I spent many years as a care giver, CNA and doing medical records, scheduling and business development for home health care agencies. Now I am fortunate enough to not have to work so I decided to try my hand at being a care giver again, simply because I enjoy doing it!

Ive been a care giver all my life. Im positive, helpful, patient, diligent and punctual. Im very interested in people and helping them get tasks done, and generally being a kind and loving friend . any time i need a job, im able to get one, i have many skills.

These are some of the qualities that I value and am known for as a caregiver: Self motivation- I enjoy looking for new ways in which to assist in or improve a situation. Reliable- I am a stable part of my client's lives by showing them that I can be present and on time when they need me. Respecful- I demonstrate the importance of being kind and patient with my clients in order for them to keep their dignity and happiness. I was attracted to being a caregiver because I enjoy making people feel comfortable and cared for whether that be physically or emotionally. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver are the friendships the have formed. Being able to assist while engaging with clients is the highlight of my day. Even if they are limited in their communication, I enjoy the connection with them through something as simple as a smile. A personal achievement I am proud of is attending college while keeping excellent grades because I make it a goal to work hard at whatever I am doing.

Hello I am Alicia- I have done private home care for approx. 10+ years. I find it very rewarding to give the care I wish to receive for myself or family members if/when I may need help doing everyday tasks. I raised 4 children & now have beautiful grandbabies to enjoy & visit them as often as I'm able to. For the past year & a half I've lived with my dad caring for him and his COPD- on November 21, 2022 he lost the fight against his disease.
