I became a caregiver because there are so many people who are in need of assistance and understanding. So many caregivers are just in it for the money...and have no personal comittment to the person they are hired to care for. My great-grandmother was in a nursing home and was abused and neglected. So I became a CNA, while I can not rescue everyone, I can make sure that anyone under my care will receive the best possible care. I absolutely, love helping others, its just a rewarding job, getting paid to do what I love to do. My personal achievement would be having four wonderful kids and being able to still work. I am an honest, trustworthy, dependable, loving human being. I volunteer at church when I can, I have volunteered as JV coach for volleyball and basketball. I also coached girls softball and made it to finals, unfortunately, we lost first round, but we still made it.
