I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother. I am very passionate about taking care of people with disabilities or assisting the elderly in their daily living skills. One of my greatest achievements I'm proud of would be the years of service the things I've learned has definitely helped me in a loving fulfilling career.

I've been in healthcare for over 14 plus year im very compassionate in what I do and I take pride in caring for those in need It brings joy to me to be able to help the senior population in their daily acts of living im also a very dependable team player who can multitask but still get the job done the correct way health care has changed so much with Covid and it's a pleasure to still be able to do what I love doing is definitely an accomplishment to be proud of I feel my experience would be a great fit to any senior home that needs care

Hello, I pray you're reading about me while all is well. You may see that I did not include a particular school of training. This is because all of my experience is hands on, from the private care of my own grandmother to the private care of others and then that as a caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care. I am a chef by trade, but I have a passion for & love the elderly and mentally disabled. When you have a natural passion for something you excel at it. This is what makes me a wonderful caregiver. I'm always willing to put in any extra time needed to learn new things. I love spending time with the elderly & mentally disabled, & I treat them as I would my own family. I understand that it is not always easy to have someone come into your home to help you do things you've been used to doing on your own. I treat every client of mine with the dignity & respect they deserve and am always willing to go above and beyond to make sure they are cared for. I enjoy listening to their stories, preparing nostalgic meals, & being a motivation & encouragement in any way that I can. Please dont hesitate to ask me anything that may be of a concern when it comes to your loved one. I am very transparent, loyal, honest and patient, and would love to be of any help that I can be. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. What I like about being a caregiver isthat you never know how a person is feeling and when you come through the door their whole day just brightens up. A personal achievement I am proud of is having my same client for a year & a half now & he doesn't want anyone else but me, that's how I know im doing my job right. Hello I am a 27 year old female with 7 years of cna experience not including personal cna before the 7 years ! I was always complimented on my cna skills I love to help who can't help them selfs I feel as if God brings my big babies in my life for a reason it's my joy determination and motivation to be a helping hand I worked in and out of hospitality and love being the best cna I can be!

I became a caregiver at 14 for my grandmother and grandfather, and I fell in love with the work I was doing. After that, I realized that what I wanted to do for the rest of my life was to take care of and help those in need. I am CPR certified by the American Heart Association in infant, child, and adult BLS. I also have experience in the following things: Home Health (5+yrs) All stages of AD (5yrs) Schizophrenia (2+yrs) Mental Disabilities, Behavioral Problems and the alike (5yrs) I believe I would be a great addition to the team.

When I was 19, my Mom was diagnosed with Cancer. Spending much of my time inside hospitals, skilled nursing homes, and at home with Mom, I had an opportunity to see first hand the difference between a truly good Caregiver/CNA and the ones who...weren't so good. I decided that I would get my Certificate so that I could be one of those good ones who truly touched people's lives. I fell in love with the profession, and have been doing this work for almost twenty years since. I truly love having the opportunity to provide the best Care Giving experience possible to all those I care for. One personal achieve I'm most proud of is the time I cleared the airway using the Heimlich Maneuver on a choking patient at a hospital I was working at. Although this particular patient was not assigned to me that day, the CNA caring for her was fresh out of school and panicked when the patient began choking on her breakfast. I was passing the room when I heard the CNA call for help. I recognized immediately that the patient was choking, pulled her into position and did the Heimlich until the food was dislodged. By the time the nurses responded, I had her airway clear and received a round of applause!

I'm a caregiver cause I enjoy taking care of people and what i like the most is when i get someone to smile.
