Well thank you for taking the time to look over my profile I am a kind and caring person. Myself as do many of you know what it is like to have a loved one that has Alzheimer's or dementia or other elder needs. In 1999 my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia it was a very rough road to cross. After seeing the things that my mother has went through and has accomplished and overcome it makes me want to continue to work in the nursing field. Someone once asked me why I chose the nursing field and all I can tell you is it is the simple things in life that can make a dramatic difference in someone's life. I love knowing that with my help and others and family members also I am able to help them stay at home. I love knowing that what I can do can change someone's life whether it be from something simple as tieing their shoe or just helping them brush their hair or complete simple daily tasks....
